Alpe d'Huez
By day from the windows of the hotel you will discover the wonderful panorama of the vast field of Les Grandes Rousses and the 237 km of pistes for your enjoyment. In the early evening you can often experience a spectacular sunset, and then sit back with a cocktail to enjoy the enchanting spectacle of the many illuminated pistes or the excitement of a race from the nearby slalom course. For the children the guided torchlight descent at night is not to be missed.
Location
The cable car takes you to “le pic blanc” which at a height of 3,330 meters provides access to two legendary ski runs: “La Sarenne” at 16 km in length is one of the longest ski runs in Europe, and “Le Tunnel” which includes a 200 meter tunnel through the core of the mountain.
From Alpe d'Huez you can ski to the villages of Oz, Vaujany, Villard Reculas and Auris en Oisans.
